Digital photography for the internet – color Questions?
Problem: I boot our photos from your computer on website, DeviantArt.com and color ALWAYS *** ΓΌ changes – And when I mean change, I mean color different from the website from the original who said, sitting on my desktop. It is still like this, and on Flickr.com, a color image is the same as the original. So why is this happening? That's what I use: MacBook Pro with OS X version 10.4.10 Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Version 1.2 Adobe Photoshop CS2 version 9.0.2 Canon Rebel XT is my editing process pictures: Pictures open in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, edited by – then I click on here the photo and select "Edit in Adobe Photoshop CS2 ", where the picture then opened in CS2. there I make additional changes and save photos as RGB colors at 8 bits / channel JPEG file. That with accuracy being away on certain web sites such as DeviantArt, but correct on the other, as Flickr?
Maybe you have expert answer but it looks like it's not you, where there were problems. My images are the same in Photoshop and Flickr. Absolutely same. Maybe it's that 8 bits / channel thing. Why are you doing? This is not standard. Maybe be, Flickr is more "pro-oriented" and knows how to read different formats and no DeviantArt. Try save it as a 16-bit and see how it work.
